KARACHI: The meeting between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in a meeting on Thursday decided to form a sub-committee for resolution of issues between the two parties.Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, Agha Siraj Durrani, Ayaz Soomro, Rafiq Engineer and Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the meeting from PPP side while Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghauri, Wasim Aftab, Dr. Saghir Ahmed, Adil Siddiqui represented MQM.
Representatives of PPP vowed to address MQM’s grievances on priority basis.
Both the parties agreed on strengthening cooperation for larger interest of the people and expressed concern on the law and order situation of Karachi.
